Fresh Mint Tea

Whether it’s the heat of summer or the coldest days of winter, we love a cup of fresh mint tea. Naturally sugar free, this drink works well hot or iced. And because it contains no caffeine, it makes for an ideal beverage to sip in the evening. 

This recipe yields 4 servings

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups mint leaves
  • 64 ounces boiling water
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • 400 g mint leaves
  • 1.8 liters boiling water
  • ½ lemon, juiced

Directions

  1. Add mint leaves, boiling water and the juice of half a lemon to a large French Press.

  2. Steep for 10 minutes.


TIPS

**Experiment with adding more mint for a stronger flavor.

**For a delicious iced mint tea, store in a mason jar in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
